Hunter's Base Camp ("the app") is an offline companion app for Monster Hunter Wilds. All game data (armor, weapons, monsters, quests, etc.) is bundled with the app and works entirely on your device. The app does not require an account, and does not collect or transmit any of your gameplay data, builds, or saved preferences — those are stored locally on your device only.
The app does use two third-party services that transmit limited technical data off your device, described below.
The app uses Sentry to automatically report crashes and errors. When the app crashes or encounters an error, Sentry collects:
This data is used solely to identify and fix bugs. It does not include your name, email, account information, or any in-app gameplay data. This collection cannot be turned off within the app.
The app displays banner ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob collects and shares with Google:
This data is used by Google for advertising and ad-measurement purposes, governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can reset or limit your device's advertising identifier in your device's system settings. This collection cannot be turned off within the app.
We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. We have no servers and no user accounts — there is nothing on our end to store, sell, or breach.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
